Description
Julio Cesar accompanied his four children back home from school at around 5:15 pm. While another terrorist remained at the wheel of a stolen taxi, a gunman got out, walked up to Julio César and shot him in the head, killing him instantly.
His children witnessed their father’s murder, just a few metres from the family home. The children fell on their father’s body, shouting “My Daddy, my Daddy!”. His wife quickly came down from their apartment.
The murder took place just two days before the third regional elections to the Basque Parliament.
