Julio Muñoz Grau

Description

Municipal employee Julio Muñoz Grau was chatting with mechanic Elío López Camarón and retired civil guard Justino Quindos López when a vehicle pulled to an abrupt halt beside them and four terrorists opened fire on the group of friends, who had just left the Alejandro bar in Azcoitia. The three victims were shot fifteen times by the terrorists. López Camarón and de Quindos died instantly. The third, Julio Muñoz, died while being taken to a health centre.

A stray bullet entered the bar, wounding municipal policeman Manuel Pérez Zarzo in the right leg.
