Description
Dámaso Sánchez Soto was shot at close range by two ETA members in front of the Dasán jewellery shop he ran in Durango. Damaso, who was with his wife and one of his daughters at the time, had just locked up the business before heading home. He was killed instantly.
In the attack, the terrorists used a taxi they had stolen in the town of Lemona, leaving the driver tied to a tree.
