Vers 18h15, le dernier patient ayant quitt\u00e9 la consultation, les terroristes se pr\u00e9sentent devant le m\u00e9decin et lui tirent dessus \u00e0 trois reprises. Les balles l&#8217;atteignent \u00e0 la t\u00eate et \u00e0 la poitrine, le m\u00e9decin meurt sur le coup. Les auteurs de l&#8217;assassinat ont \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9s \u00e0 la prison pour ce crime.<\/p>\n<p>Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Mu\u00f1oz Fern\u00e1ndez, mari\u00e9 et p\u00e8re de trois enfants, \u00e9tait chef du service de m\u00e9decine interne de l&#8217;h\u00f4pital Miguel Servet. Quelques mois plus t\u00f4t il s\u2019\u00e9tait oppos\u00e9 au maintien \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital sans soins de membres du GRAPO en gr\u00e8ve de la faim. Le m\u00e9decin avait m\u00eame d\u00e9pos\u00e9 un recours \u00e0 l\u2019encontre de la d\u00e9cision du juge d&#8217;application des peines qui s\u2019\u00e9tait oppos\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;alimentation forc\u00e9e tant que les prisonniers restaient conscients.
