Alors qu&#8217;il courait, un commando du GRAPO le kidnappe et l\u2019emm\u00e8ne dans une maison lou\u00e9e \u00e0 Lyon (France). Ils exigent le paiement d&#8217;une ran\u00e7on de 400 millions de pesetas que la famille remet secr\u00e8tement \u00e0 Paris. L&#8217;organisation terroriste annonce sa lib\u00e9ration au moins \u00e0 trois reprises, mais l&#8217;homme d&#8217;affaires n&#8217;est jamais apparu. Selon le chef du commando, des ann\u00e9es plus tard, Cord\u00f3n avait tent\u00e9 de s&#8217;\u00e9chapper et \u00e9tait mort en tombant par la fen\u00eatre.<\/p>\n<p>Publio Cord\u00f3n Munilla, originaire de Soria, s&#8217;\u00e9tait install\u00e9 \u00e0 Saragosse \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00c2ge : de 19 ans et avait commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler comme vendeur. \u00c0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque de son enl\u00e8vement, il \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sident de l&#8217;entreprise Previasa et du groupe hospitalier Quir\u00f3n et avait quatre filles. Pendant son enfermement dans une armoire, il avait dessin\u00e9 des marques sur le mur, probablement pour ne pas perdre la notion des jours pendant lesquels il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 enferm\u00e9.
