Ils venaient de quitter le Quartier g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019Arm\u00e9e de Terre. Lorsqu\u2019ils s\u2019arr\u00eat\u00e8rent face \u00e0 un bureau de Renfe (SNCF espagnole) pour faire des d\u00e9marches, deux membres de l\u2019ETA mitraill\u00e8rent le v\u00e9hicule des militaires depuis une voiture. Tant Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Mart\u00edn-Posadillo Mu\u00f1iz qu\u2019Ignacio Julio Barangua Arbu\u00e9s furent tu\u00e9s sur le coup, car ils re\u00e7urent des coups de feu \u00e0 la t\u00eate. Le soldat Fernando Vilches Herranz, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 18 ans et dont c\u2019\u00e9tait le premier jour de service comme conducteur, fut tr\u00e8s gri\u00e8vement bless\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Mart\u00edn-Posadillo Mu\u00f1iz \u00e9tait n\u00e9 \u00e0 Tol\u00e8de. Il fut enterr\u00e9 au cimeti\u00e8re de Saragosse. En 2005 il re\u00e7ut une promotion honorifique le nommant g\u00e9n\u00e9ral dans le casernement Capit\u00e1n Mayoral de Saragosse. \u201c\u00c7a m\u2019a co\u00fbt\u00e9 d\u2019avaler mes larmes, mais cette reconnaissance aide un peu \u00e0 mitiger la douleur\u2014dit sa veuve Mar\u00eda Isabel Franco pendant cet hommage&#8211;.
