Par ailleurs \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque le groupe GAL avait apparemment cess\u00e9 ses actions. Son dernier attentat revendiqu\u00e9 et v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 fut celui de Juan Carlos Garc\u00eda Goena en 1987. Les actions violentes qui eurent lieu entre 1988 et 1991 \u00e9taient principalement : des attaques contre des si\u00e8ges politiques de HB ou aux domiciles de leurs militants, des incendies ou des explosions de voitures de conseillers municipaux ou de sympathisants ind\u00e9pendantistes, des menaces de mort, des lettres pi\u00e9g\u00e9es, des agressions &#8211; dont la plupart consistaient \u00e0 graver les sigles GAL au couteau sur certaines parties du corps &#8211; , enl\u00e8vements et interrogatoires \u00ab\u00a0express\u00a0\u00bb, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019un de ces attentats anonymes, un paquet pi\u00e9g\u00e9 envoy\u00e9 \u00e0 Idelfonso Salazar Uriarte, militant de HB \u00e0 Renter\u00eda, tua Jos\u00e9 Antonio Cardosa, jeune facteur de 22 ans le mercredi 20 septembre 1989. Diff\u00e9rentes versions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9voqu\u00e9es pour ce meurtre. Personne ne l\u2019a revendiqu\u00e9. L\u2019ETA accusa les services de l\u2019\u00e9tat.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En 1996, la famille de Jos\u00e9 Antonio re\u00e7ut une nouvelle piste sur l\u2019assassinat, qui les laissa perplexes. Luis Rold\u00e1n d\u00e9clara devant le juge Baltasar Garz\u00f3n dans l\u2019une des affaires des GAL et assura que des actions de guerre sale se produisirent pendant le mandat de Jos\u00e9 Barrionuevo comme ministre de l\u2019int\u00e9rieur et pendant celui de Jos\u00e9 Lu\u00eds Corcuera. Il accusa le Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019int\u00e9rieur d\u2019\u00eatre \u00e0 l\u2019origine de l\u2019envoi de lettres pi\u00e9g\u00e9es aux terroristes de l\u2019ETA et \u00e0 l\u2019entourage du groupe.
