At around 9.40 pm, as they were leaving the establishment, two terrorists from ETA militar remotely detonated a device consisting of explosives and shrapnel hidden in a rented car they had parked close to the bar. The only one of the four to survive the explosion was Jos\u00e9 Luis Hern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\n<p>Miguel \u00c1ngel San Mart\u00edn was a local textile shop-owner and had a small daughter.
