Description
Mechanic Elío López Camarón was chatting with retired civil guard Justino Quindos López and municipal employee Julio Muñoz Grau when a vehicle pulled to an abrupt halt beside them and four terrorists opened fire on the group of friends, who had just left the Alejandro de Azcoitia bar. The three victims were shot fifteen times by the terrorists. López Camarón and de Quindos died instantly. The third man, Julio Muñoz, died while being taken to a health centre.
One of the shots entered the bar, wounding municipal policeman Manuel Pérez Zarzo in the right leg.
